Sorry for your family's loss. Doc was a great person to work with. We worked off and on together over 20 years on the railroad. He was always there willing to help with whatever was needed. We had some good times and memorable outings together. Always working towards time off to go to the farm. Prayers to all the family.

 Our last family event together with Justin and Debbie. Our family, DiTommaso/Phillips/ Windell  family spent most of our Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter’s together along with birthdays and other family life events.  I am saddened by the loss of Justin but know he is reunited with my sister, Debbie.  Love Justin like a brother so pretty heart broken.  However, every time I hear a train I will be reminded of  him and all his  hard work to keep those trains  on the tracks and how much he loved working for the railroad.  I will miss your honesty and loving soul.  Love Diane ❤️🥲

I’m happy Aunt Debbie and Uncle Justin are both in heaven together. I always had fun whenever I was with them and I’ll always be their CeCe!

The thing I will always remember the most about my Uncle Justin is that he gave the BEST hugs. Some of my fondest memories growing up were going to Kentucky and visiting him and Aunt Debbie and swimming in their pool. He will be greatly missed!

Remember when Doc started work on RR hard worker and a good friend of mine, he will be missed.

You have my most deepest condolences, I met Justin through his wife Debbie who was a very good friend of mine. He was such a fun addition to our group. He was funny, caring, he gave great hugs and very generous.  We kept in contact after Debbie passed way too early. I was devastated when I heard the news at his passing. Know that you all will be in my thoughts and prayers and  I will remember him with love and appreciation!

I remember working with Doc Windell when I was a standards engineer for CSX.  He was always a kind and knowledgeable coworker.  He never hesitated to help me when I asked for it.  God speed, sir.

When we were kids, we rode trails together on our horses, particularly on the annual 4-day Old Capitol Saddle Club 100-Mile Trail Ride. Justin was a fairly good horseman, and he had a great sense of humor. As a teenager, he loved helping on the farm, driving "Supe," as he called their Farmall Super M tractor.  After J, as I called him, started working for the railroad, we lost track of one another. But I really enjoyed our trail riding days. Prayers for peace and comfort for his friends and family during this difficult time.

I will miss my big brother so much.  He was always there for me, supportive, dependable, kind, and funny.  I trust that he’s finally at peace.  My deepest condolences to his children and grandchildren.  He was very proud of you❤️

I will miss my big brother so much.  He was seven years older than me, so I was still a kid when he left home. We always enjoyed talking to each other and made an effort to visit one another when we could.  He was authentic, dependable, funny, talented, and down to earth. I'll miss you uncle J. I know you are home with Debbie now but things here won't be the same without you. Camping at Patoka will forever be a reminder of you and all the times spent. That is where I had the privilege of really getting to know you each and every summer.  You and aunt Debbie were always so good to me and then Donnie once he came along. I'll never forget the way you loved us.  
Your hugs were always a reminder of the type of man you were, strong yet gentle. Rest easy uncle Justin, make sure to find the tostitos for aunt Deb. We love you always and will miss you, until we meet again 😘
