Age 83 of Springboro, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 12, 1930 in Lewisburg, Ohio to the late, Eugene and Odetta Grace (Bunger) Robbins. Also preceding him in death is son, Fred Robbins, brother, Bob Robbins and sister, Betty. Karl is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Patricia (Brooks) Robbins of Springboro; sons, Ron Robbins of Miamisburg, Don Robbins of Springboro, Keith Robbins of Miamisburg; brothers, Dick Robbins and Bill Robbins, both of Englewood; sisters, Delores Pummell of Bellbrook, Sally Kleiner of Texas; mother-in-law, Helen Brooks of Miamisburg; special friends, Jim Hudson and Roy Hall and many other extended family and friends. Karl retired from General Motors after 31 years of service. The family would like to Thank Kettering Cancer Center, Sycamore Glen Health Center and Kettering Home Care for all of their wonderful care and support during this difficult time. Family will see friends from 5-7 pm on Friday, May 9 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, 508 East Linden Ave. Miamisburg, Ohio 45342. Funeral service will be 10 am on Saturday, May 10, also at the funeral home. Interment following at Highland Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2808 Reading Rd. Cincinnati, Ohio 45206, in memory of Karl.
