Kate Mollie Mahan Plummer Russell

RUSSELL, Kate, age 73, of Miamisburg, passed away Friday, January 13, 2012 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born March 18, 1938 in Dayton, OH to the late James Alfred and Thelma T. (Spears) Plummer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Robert E. Russell, Sr. (1975), her sons, Robert E. Russell, Jr. and Glenn Michael Russell; sisters Ruth Ellen Plummer and Louise Cates, and brothers, Charles Spears, Bobby Plummer and Curt Plummer. Kate is survived by her children, Bronson A. (Dana Burns) Russell of Miamisburg, Rick D. Russell of Dayton, Vickie L. (Clark) Longworth and Michelle M. (Ronald) McGlothin both of Miamisburg; grandchildren, Travis Russell, Jessie Russell, April McGlothin, Ronny McGlothin and Isaac McGlothin; great grandchildren, James, Tiara, Michael, Kirsten, Dustin, Lacey, Riley, Harley, Trent and Kaylee; sisters, Daisy Gay of Miamisburg, Dorothy Noor of FL and Maggie (Hubert) Howard of Miamisburg and nieces and nephews, Jimmy Plummer, Jessica, Jim Bob, Jennifer, Jacob, Hubert (Teresa), Shawna (Roger), Harley, Gabriel, Maggie, Ransom, Mandy, Little Hubie and Brian. Mollie was a homemaker and Baptist by faith who enjoyed watching TV, especially John Wayne movies and drawing in her spare time. She was a great mother who made loving her family her first priority. A memorial service is scheduled for 6:00 PM Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg officiated by Pastor Stephen Spurgin. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
