Kaye Charlene Lenz

Lenz, Kaye C. Age 81, a lifelong resident of Miamisburg, OH, passed away on Feb 28, 2020, at Symphony Memory Care in Centerville, OH. Kaye was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Helen Costello. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jim Lenz, daughter, Kimm (Jeff) Schroeder of Miamisburg, son, Scott (Kelly) Lenz of Centerville, step-daughter, Anita (John) Mitchell of Palm Coast, FL, step-sons, Fred Lenz (Char) of Orlando, FL, Ben Lenz of Austin, TX and Jim (Shari) Lenz of Chicago, IL. Kaye loved all the time spent with them and her 10 grandchildren, Alex, Andie, Michael, Meredith, Lindsay, Paige, Blake, Brianna, Jayden, Vincent and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was a graduate of Miamisburg High School class of 1956 and many of her classmates remained lifelong friends. Her love of horses and automobiles made her a perfect match with Jim. They enjoyed extensive travel across the U.S. and Europe with friends from Antioch Shrine and Ohio Auto Dealers. There were many fun times and treasured memories at Indian Lake, Bear Lake, MI, and The Villages, FL, along with family reunions on Disney Cruises.

Her last 16 months spent as a resident of Symphony Memory Care, she managed to always share a chuckle and a smile with the caring staff. Many heartfelt thanks to the caregivers of Symphony and Hospice of Dayton for the comfort provided.

Family will receive friends on Fri, Mar 13, 2020, from 5-8 at Trinity Church, Miamisburg. A memorial service will be held at Trinity on Sat, Mar 14 at 10:30am, Pastor Joe Getts officiating, followed by inurnment at Hillgrove Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at the church.
