He was born October 25, 1957 in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Ken loved fishing, cooking, and watching football. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family and friends, and spoiling his grandkids.
Ken is survived by his wife of 44 years, Brenda LaRue; children, Andrea LaRue (Val), Michael LaRue, and Lora Medlar (Ross); his parents, Gerald and Peggy LaRue; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild on the way; siblings, David LaRue (Heidi), Carol Quackenbush (Rob), and Susan Chambers (Dave); sisters-in-law, Lynn Gilvin (Donny) and Rita Hoke; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, especially his dearest cousin, Leah Armitage (Randy).
He was preceded in death by his in-law’s, Elizabeth Hoke, Julian and Wanda Hoke; brother-in-law, Kenneth Hoke.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-7 PM on Monday, November 15, 2021 at GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Our Lady of Good Hope Church, Miamisburg with Father Jim Romanello Celebrant. Inurnment will be held at Our Lady of Good Hope Cemetery at a later date.
