Leonard Eugene Erisman

ERISMAN, Leonard E. age 86 of Miamisburg, passed away Monday, June 6, 2011 at his residence. He was born September 10, 1924 in Miamisburg to the late Lee and Anna (Beachler) Erisman. In addition to his parents, Leonard was preceded in death by 2 sisters and a brother. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ora L. Erisman of Miamisburg; his children, Donald Erisman of Centerville, Rose Ann (James) Douglas of Kettering and William F. Erisman of Miamisburg; grandchildren, Thomas Douglas of Indiana, Timothy (Kim) Douglas of California, Anne Marie Erisman of West Chester and Lynn “Ellen” (Dwayne) Dill of West Carrollton and great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Douglas and Carson Dill. Leonard retired after 42 years of employment with NCR. He served for the U.S. Air Force during WWII and received a Purple Heart. He was also a member of the Miamisburg American Legion. The Erisman family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, June 9, 2011 at GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Funeral services will begin 10:00 AM Friday, June 10 also at the funeral home and officiated by Rev. Jeffery Campbell. Burial will take place at Hillgrove Cemetery, Miamisburg and military honors will be performed by American Legion #165 of Miamisburg.
