Linda Lynn (McClure) Williams, age 79, of Miamisburg, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 and is now home with family. She was born on June 17, 1945 in Stanford, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Virginia and Aubrey Mullins, and sister of the late Thomas Mullins. Linda was a mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, teacher, and she was loved.
Linda attended Miamisburg schools from 3rd grade through graduation. She graduated from Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing and was in nursing for 50 years total. After retirement, she volunteered at Miamisburg Senior Center and for Hospice of Dayton gift shops.
Along with her parents and brother, she was preceded in death by her first fiancé, Mark V. Dennis; husband, Joseph G. McClure; and husband, Glen E. Williams.
Left to cherish her memory are her two children, L. Michele Allen and C. Gregory Allen & wife Jennifer Allen; seven granddaughters, Dani (John), Ceara (Chris) & their son, Axel, Erica (Gabe), Kayla (Keller), Sammy (Niko), Emma (Bryce), and Mackenzie; and lifelong friends, Judy, Elaine, Elsie, and Joyce.
Linda enjoyed traveling, camping, reading, theater, casinos, cruises, bird watching, nature photography and family gatherings.
A graveside service will be held Monday, May 12, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, 1639 E Lytle 5 Points Rd, Centerville, Ohio 45458.
