

She was born on July 7, 1942, in Minneapolis, MN, to the late Rev. Ivan and Bonnie (Teal) Menchhofer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Step-mother Norah (Edwards) Menchhofer; her sisters, Connie (Jim) Bozell and Joan Menchhofer; Brother-in-law Emerson Focht.
Lois graduated from West Alexandria High School in 1960 and became a licensed cosmetologist. For decades, she cut and styled hair for family, friends, and others. Like her mother, Lois was an accomplished pianist, leading her church choir, accompanying others, and teaching piano to many while living in Miamisburg. She also enjoyed singing in the church choir at Emmanuel Lutheran Church (Kettering), where she was a member since 1977. Other activities included selling Avon, flower arranging, gardening, and travel. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, George E. Moses of Miami Township, son Paul E. (Kristi) Moses of Lake Charles, LA, daughter Lisa K. (Sean) Dunster of Clifton Forge, Virginia, daughter Joni L. (Ronald) D’Allessandris of Germantown, Ohio; her sisters Sharon Focht, Joyce Kerr, and Lorene (Oliver) D’Adam; her step-sister Amy (Mike) Miller; her sister-in-law Martha (Philip) Bear; grandchildren Lydiia, Thomas, Corinne, Taylor, Travis, Delaney, Elianna, Amber, Courtney, Alysa and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 9 at 12:30 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church 4865 Wilmington Pike, Dayton, Ohio 45440 with Pastor Mark Carlson officiating. Burial at Fairview Cemetery (West Alexandria) following the service. Friends may call at GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, 508 East Linden Ave., Miamisburg, OH on Monday, June 8 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
