

KOHR, Louetta Ann, age 88 of Vandalia and formerly of Miamisburg, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at her residence under the care of Crossroads Hospice. She was born September 9, 1927 in Dayton to the late Ottis Paul and Clara Rose (Oliger) Reynolds. In addition to her parents, Louetta was preceded in death by her husband, Lester E. Kohr in 2008; her son, Michael Kohr in 1988 and siblings, William Reynolds, Marguerite Reynolds and Robert Reynolds. Louetta is survived by her remaining children, Kathy (Doug) Frankel of Vandalia, Susan (Leroy) Hill of Miamisburg and Richard Kohr of Miamisburg; grandchildren, David (Melinda), Jon (Julie), Mike, Kristy, Lauren, Danielle (Nelson) and Cassandra; great grandchildren, Anna, Will, Kate, Aubrey, Felicity, Payton, Kylie and Alexis; sisters, Eileen Rousseau and Dorothy Jean Kingrey as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Louetta was a 1947 graduate of Tipp City High School and was a nursing graduate from St. Elizabeth’s in 1951. She served the Family Practice of Drs. Regan, Ruffner and Zanowick for several years before completing her 25 year career with Bethany Lutheran Village as Director of Nursing in 1989. Louetta was an active member of Our Lady of Good Hope and an accomplished quilter who often participated in the quilters group at the Miamisburg Senior Adult Center. Family will receive friends and loved ones from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Friday, October 9, 2015 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:00 AM Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Our Lady of Good Hope Church, Miamisburg and celebrated by Father Rom Combs. Woodhill Cemetery, Franklin will serve as Louetta’s final resting place. Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice at 8087 Washington Village Dr., Dayton, OH 45458.
