Louise Burgess, 84, of Miamisburg, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016 Louise was born in Pikeville, KY on September 2, 1931 to the late Rodney and Helen (Ellis) Briscoe. After high school, Louise moved to the Cincinnati area to attend nursing school. She married Roger Burgess, raised her family and worked as a Registered Nurse at Bethesda Hospital. She was a member of the Withamsville Church of Christ. Roger and Louise retired to Asheville, NC. After the death of her husband of many years, she relocated to Ohio to be nearer to family. Loving wife, mother and grandmother, Louise was also preceded in death by her brother, Tom Briscoe and her son, Steve Burgess. She is survived by her loving daughter, Dody Bruck, son-in-law Michael Bruck and grandchildren, Christine Paraskos, Jeff (Kassie) Bruck and Michelle (Larry) Rothstein. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Friday, August 12, 2016 at Mt. Moriah Cemetery Chapel, Cincinnati with Mike Grose officiating.
