Margaret Cathryn Treadway Spivey

Spivey, Margaret T. age 87 of Maryville, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2016. She was born September 1, 1928 in Beattyville, KY to the late Lewis and Ora (Arnold) Treadway. Also preceding her in death is her husband of 61 years, Russell Spivey of Knoxville, TN; sister, Mary (Treadway) Witt of Miamisburg, OH; sister, Geneva (Treadway) Eckert of Washington Courthouse, OH; brother, Lewis C. Treadway of Irvine, KY; and sister Stella (Treadway) Schroder of Sonora, CA. Margaret is survived by her brother, Fred Treadway of Bellbrook, OH; son Mark (and wife Penny) Spivey of Louisville, TN; grandson Benjamin J. Spivey of West Carrollton, OH; granddaughter Elizabeth N. Spivey of West Carrollton, OH; granddaughter Rachel E. McConkey of Louisville, TN; granddaughter Abigail G. McConkey of Louisville, TN; nieces; nephews; and many dear friends. Margaret and her husband Russell resided in Miamisburg, OH for 47 years before moving to Tennessee. Margaret was a member of Olivet Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 6pm on June 10, 2016 at Hill Grove Cemetery in Miamisburg, with Pastor Mark Leach officiating.
