Margaret Lee Parrish Stone

STONE, Margaret L. was long-time resident of Miamisburg, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 95 years of age in the Care of Kingston of Miamisburg. She was born April 3, 1920 in Fairfield County, OH to the late Russell R. and Kathryn (James) Parrish. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Stone in 2008; sisters, Louise Morningstar and Millie Butler as well as a son-in-law, Ben Brewer. Margaret is survived by her loving and supportive family including children, Marilyn Brewer of Miamisburg, Nancy (Ken) Pingleton of Centerville and Chuck (Debbie) Stone of Beavercreek; grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and a special friend, Judy Fox, as well as nieces and nephews. Margaret’s family is especially grateful for the care and support shown their mother at Kingston of Miamisburg and by many of her friends and neighbors over the years. Margaret was a graduate of Roosevelt High School and dedicated the majority of her life to her family as a homemaker. She enjoyed life’s simple pleasures; flower gardening and caring for God’s creatures. Her life was spent family and serving where ever she was needed. Family will receive friends and loved ones from 5:00 -7:00 PM Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. A graveside service will begin 1:30 PM Monday, October 26 at Hillgrove Cemetery Miamisburg which will serve as Margaret’s final resting place and officiated by Pastor Michael Hout. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Miami Valley Chapter at 31 Whipp Rd.
