Marilyn J. Fitzgerald, 87, of Miamisburg, passed away Monday, November 19, 2018. She was born February 25, 1931 in Lakeview, Iowa, the daughter of Raymond and Lillian (Anderson) Finders. Marilyn was a longtime active member of St. James United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and was a frequent volunteer at their thrift shop. Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Greg) Gutwein; grandchildren, Tyler and Amanda Gutwein; brother-in-law, Alan (Rebecca) Fitzgerald; as well as nephew, Raymond (Lynn) McCoy. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Fitzgerald; sister, Janet McCoy; and her nephew, Mark McCoy. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, November 23, 2018 at GEBHART-SCHMIDT PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg with Rev. Deb Holder officiating. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
