HOUSEMAN, Marshall W. age 53 of Miamisburg passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 17, 2013 at his residence. He was born September 10, 1959 in Dayton, OH to the late Bobby Joe and Carolyn (Kesler) Houseman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Houseman (June 2013) and his first wife and mother of his children, Karen Teresa (Hitchcock) Houseman. He is survived by his stepmother; Sharon K. Houseman of Clayton; his children, Marshall R. (Linda Krukenberg) Houseman of Miamisburg, Ashley B. (Gaetano) LoGrande of Hermosa Beach, CA and Jessica L. Houseman of Los Angeles CA; siblings, Kelly J. (Tammy) Houseman of Dayton and William “Keith” (Cindy) Houseman of Waynesville; his longtime girlfriend, Barbara Staples of Springboro; cousin, Mark (Barb) Houseman of West Carrollton; aunts, Annie Houseman of Centerville and Marilyn Sigler; uncle, Gary B. Hampton; his second wife of 8 years, Melissa Wetherill and several nieces and nephews as well as numerous friends. Marshall was a 1978 graduate of West Carrollton High School and JVS for carpentry. He was a self-made tradesman and talented carpenter that made a living by working with his hands. He was a member of the Eagles Aries 4014 of Springboro and enjoyed fishing, golf, pool, darts, kayaking and most of all, time with family and friends. Family will receive friends during visitation from 4:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM also at the funeral home. A private cremation will finalize his disposition in accordance with his wishes. Memorial contributions may be made to Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home at 508 E. Linden Ave., Miamisburg, OH 45342 in Marshall’s memory. I just found out about Marshall's passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He was such a great guy. I have many good memories from the Lincolnshire Rd/Aylesworth Ct neighborhood. Rest in peace my friend.

Too the Houseman family &Barb-We send or heartfelt condolences. . Marshall will be truly missed by everyone. He was so witty and quick will a story or fairly tale.Mark and I met Marshall years ago and have enjoyed his company many times.Both Mark and I were fortunate have spent some time with on Friday before his passing. My Deepest sympathy to Sharon,the family and his Children. His Brother Paul was my good friend and I just met Marshall at Paul's funeral and he was very nice and funny and told us some funny stories about his little brother. I am so sorry Sharon I cant imagine what you must be going through. Heaven is a better place with Paul and Marshall there.
