Mary Ellen Wagner

WAGNER, Mary Ellen, passed to be with her Savior on Saturday afternoon August 18, 2012 at her residence, after 98 blessed years of life. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Harry W. in 1977, her parents, Roy M. Weidle and Mary E. “Bessie” (Smith) Weidle Dursch, four sisters and a brother. She is survived by her daughter, Sidney of Miamisburg; sisters, Goldie McIntosh and Margie McDonald and her husband, Windle; step-brother, Harold Dursch and his wife, Lucille; sisters-in-law, Margaret Ball, Frances Aregood and Edith Wagner as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mary Ellen was a life-time member of St. Jacob Lutheran Church in Miamisburg where she was a Sunday School teacher for over 50 years and served on the Church Council. She also worked diligently with the Women’s Council of Graceworks Lutheran Services. She served her Lord in many different ways and was always ready to help wherever she was needed. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, 508 E. Linden Ave., Miamisburg, OH 45342. A celebration of her life will begin 11:00 am Thursday, August 23, 2012 at St. Jacob Lutheran Church, Miamisburg with Pastor Michael Hout officiating. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Miamisburg. If desired, contributions may be made to St. Jacob Lutheran Church, 213 E. Central Ave., Miamisburg, OH 45342.
