MANNY, Michael W., age 73 of Kettering, OH passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at The Hospice of Dayton. Mike was born March 5, 1938 in Dayton to the late Harold M. and Mildred Helen Manny. Michael is survived by his brother, Patrick H. Manny; and cousin, Robert (Barbara) Spry and many friends. He graduated from Fairmont High School in 1956 and attended the University of Dayton. He worked at the Dayton Daily News as a printer in the composing room for 36 years. Mike also hosted a radio show in Xenia in the 1960’s known as the “Dusty Record Shelf” playing music from the 1920’s and 30’s for the radio station WHBM. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 29 at the GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE FUNERAL HOME, 508 East Linden Ave., Miamisburg. Interment following at Hillgrove Cemetery.
