

Age 84 of Franklin, Ohio passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2014. He was born on March 5, 1929 in Irvine, Kentucky to the late, J.D. and Cuba (Brenegar) Chaney. Also preceding him in death is his wife, Opal Chaney; son, Glenn Chaney; brothers, Price and Deb Chaney. Millard is survived by his daughters, Cuba (Michael) Allen, Renna (Jabez, Shy) Chaney, Sheila (Ignacio) Cabrera, Johnna (David) George; grandchildren, Mattie, Sarah, Rachel, Hannah, Eric, Daniel and Rebecca; great-grandchildren, Eve, Miriam, Phillip, Brendan, Jacob, Johnna, Cameron, Lincoln, Emma, Conner, Emma ; sisters, Lucy Pearson, Ethel Richardson and many other extended family and friends. Millard retired from Appleton Paper after 46 years of service. He enjoyed spending his time going to flea markets and always looking for a great bargain. If you were lucky enough to meet Millard, you fell in love with him and you’ll never forget his charm or great sense of humor. Friends and family may visit from 10AM-1PM on Thursday, February 6 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, 508 East Linden Ave., Miamisburg, Ohio 45342. The funeral service will follow at 1PM on Thursday, also at the funeral home. Interment at Woodhill Cemetery, Franklin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Vineyard Downtown Help Center, 108 East 6th St., Franklin, Ohio 45005, in memory of Millard.
