Patsy Lantis Hill

HILL, Patsy Eileen, age 87 of Miamisburg, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016 at home under the care of Hospice of Dayton and surrounded by her family and loved ones. Patsy was born July 4, 1928 in West Alexandria, OH to the late Carl Glenn and Elizabeth Ellen (Hayslett) Lantis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Edward Hill in 1994; a daughter, Cindy Hill in 2004 and a brother, Glenn Lantis in 1963. She is survived by her children, Michael Dean Hill of Miamisburg and Linda Diane (Daniel Patrick) LaBreche of California; siblings, Betty Maxine Barker of Franklin, Mary Jeanette Lindamood of Miamisburg, Ellen Kaye (Bob) Lloyd of Miamisburg; grandchildren Sara Kristine (Joshua Davis) LaBreche, Daniel Christopher (Cherry) LaBreche, Tamara Elizabeth (Ceasar) Barrantes, David Andrew (Jessica) LaBreche and Whitney Nicole McLaughlin; great grandchildren, Asher, Liam, Monroe, Ryan, Bodie, MacKenna and Reese as well as many nieces and nephews. Patsy was a 1946 graduate of Miamisburg High School and became an excellent bookkeeper for employers such as NCR, GM, Buckeye Molding, Borchers Insurance, Verdugo Hills Hospital and the Ledger newspaper in CA. She had also worked as a cashier for a time at Woody’s supermarket. Patsy enjoyed her memberships at First Christian Church of Montrose and Four Square Church both in California and was dedicated to her faith as a passionate Christian. She will be remembered as the best mother, grandmother and caregiver a family could ask for. Funeral services will begin 11:00 AM Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Garden, Centerville.
