Patty Sue Kidwell

She was born on May 7, 1941, in Pardee, Virginia, the daughter of Frank and Lola (West) Rogers.

Patty attended Miamisburg High School. Her first job was at GC Murphy and later worked at Ron’s Pizza and retired as a school bus driver for Miamisburg City Schools after 27 years of service. Patty is a member of Victory Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, traveling, and decorating. Most of all she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, James Kidwell; children, Tonia (Jeff) Disney, James Todd “JT” Kidwell, and Teresa (Bill) Gwathney; grandchildren, Zachary Wilson (Shelby Bowers), Brittney (Christopher) Wysong, Lisa (Justin) Valentine, Anna (Michael) White; great grandchildren, Addison Donaldson, Luke, Logan, and Austin Wysong, Sophia Rose and Cason Wilson, Lincoln and Scarlett Valentine, and Ruby Rose White; brother, Randy (Carol) Rogers; brother-in-law, Wendell Holbrook; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty Holbrook; brothers, Michael and Bobby Rogers.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11 am – 12:30 pm on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Victory Hill Baptist Church, 706 Upper Miamisburg Rd, Miamisburg, Ohio 45342. A funeral service will follow at 12:30 pm. with Michael and Anna White officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Miamisburg.
