

LINDAMOOD, Paul R., 79 of Miamisburg, passed away Friday morning June 17, 2011. Retired from Montgomery County Engineers, Paul took great pride in his family and being a gentle but strong role model in all of their lives. He loved his life with his wife and soulmate, Jeannette (“Babe”), and thrived in their 57 beautiful years of marriage. Born to a farming family, Paul had a passion for the land and the great outdoors, and enjoyed creating things with his hands. From works of art in stone to structures around his property, his creations are all around his home and on his farm in Hillsboro, Ohio. He loved baseball, old tractors and his country, proudly serving in the U. S. Marines during the Korean War. Paul was recently baptized, and enjoyed his retirement spent around his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His life was full of adventure, and he will be greatly missed and forever remembered. Paul is survived by his wife of more than 57 years, Jeannette, and two sons, Rick of Chicago and Scott (Jenny) of Alaska. Grandchildren, Sean (Susan) of Alaska, Shea Lindamood, Michelle Harger, Madison Lindamood; Jeremy and Alex Lindamood of Alaska; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Charles Lindamood of West Carrollton and a host of much loved family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00PM on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, 508 E. Linden, Miamisburg, OH. Funeral service will be held at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home on Thursday, June 23, at 10:00AM. Burial will follow immediately at Miami Valley Memorial Gardens.
