Cpl Paul W. Zanowick II

ZANOWICK, Cpl Paul “Rocky”, II age 23 of Miamisburg, Ohio, was killed in Afghanistan, Friday, June 3, 2011. He was a member of Boy Scouts of America Troops 103 & 402, Venturing Crew 357, involved in both C.Y.O. and high school track, a 2006 graduate of Miamisburg High School, attended Sinclair Community College, and joined the United States Marine Corps January 22, 2008. Rocky is survived by his wife, Ryan Lynn Zanowick and son Uriah, of Twentynine Palms, CA; parents, Paul W. and Nanette Zanowick of Miamisburg, OH; sister, Nicole Zanowick of Miamisburg, OH; and grandparents, Nick & Jean Smith of Lima, OH and Russell & Mildred Zanowick of Hillsboro, OH. The family will receive friends at the Miamisburg Christian Church, 1146 E. Central Ave. Miamisburg, OH Friday, June 10, 2011 from 4 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will begin 11 am Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church 6 S. Third St., Miamisburg, OH (on Central Ave. between Library Park and Third St.).
