Perry "Dick" Richard Zutterling

ZUTTERLING, Perry Richard “Dick”, age 91 of Miamisburg, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at home. Dick was born April 19, 1931 in Wheeling, WV to the late Perry and Adella (Jeneskee) Zutterling. In addition to his parents Dick was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Lois (Heckard) Zutterling.

Dick is survived by his children, Richard A. (Susan) Zutterling of New York, Sharon (Steve) Brandt of Virginia, Debra (Roger) Alcorn of Middletown, and Bruce (Becky) Zutterling of Centerville; grandchildren, Amy (Todd) Johnson, Stephanie (Christopher) Grafton, Lisa (Wayne) Thomas, Emily Brandt, Brian (Jessica) Alcorn, Christy Rupe, Jason (Jennifer) Zutterling and Amanda Zutterling; great grandchildren, Connor, Ethan, Tyler, Evie, Charlie, Millie, Lily, and Azie; a brother, Bob Maxwell of Pennsylvania, as well as nieces and nephews.

Dick was a 1949 graduate of Williamsport High School, Pennsylvania and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Lycoming College. He retired after many years in a career as bank trust officer. He was a Boy Scout leader for many years in Bethel Park, PA and hiked Philmont Boy Scout Ranch in New Mexico. Dick was a member of Parkview United Methodist Church, Miamisburg and enjoyed many activities including pinochle, dominoes, and various card games with his family. Over the years he took many vacations with his family and relocated several times over his career, eventually retiring to Tennessee until he and his wife moved back to Ohio for the remainder of their lives.

Dick's final resting place is in Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, Ohio.
