

He was born July 11, 1926 in Conway, Kentucky, the son of Oscar and Susie (Beldon) Gadd.
He is survived by his son, Jack (Kay) Gadd; grandchildren, Kevin Gadd and Brian (Jennifer) Gadd; great grandchildren, Grace, Carson, Preston, Ryder, Lindley, and Jackson; siblings, Virginia Pennington and Phyllis Davis; as well as special friend, Linda Butcher.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 67 years, Helen Gadd; brothers, Paul Gadd, Attlee Bruce Gadd, David Gadd, Clyde Gadd, and Elmo Gadd.
Raymond served his country in the United States Army during World War II as a staff sergeant in the 6th Division in the Pacific Theater. He retired from General Motors after 40 years of service. Raymond was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Dayton, the veterans club in Del Webb, Florida. He spent 10 years as an ambassador/volunteer at Chick-Fil-A and he also volunteered at Crossroads Hospice and Brighton Gardens. Raymond was a proud father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved spending time with his family.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10 – 11 AM on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg. A funeral service will follow at 11 AM. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Miamisburg.
