I was privileged to be welcomed into the kilpatrick family as one of the exchange students and felt valued and cared for at all times in their home. Particularly how Dad K would get up every day in time to have the car running and warm for us to drive to school. And I remember how he took his turn cooking dinner - which meant heading out to a local restaurant. He valued my thoughts and ideas even when they didn’t agree 100% which was significant to me. Vale
