Age 67 of Carlisle, Ohio passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013. He was born on June 24, 1946 in Grand Rapids, MN to the late, Oliver Lloyd and Lettie Lorene (Thornburg) Hardy. Also preceding him in death is his granddaughter, Renee Hardy and a brother, Oliver Lloyd Hardy. Sam is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Linda (Eversole) Hardy; children, Rob (Heather) Hardy, Yolanda (James) Pearson, Julie Butler, Dennis (Sheri) Hardy, Nick (Wendy) Yeary; 12 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; a brother, James (Betty) Hardy and many family and friends. Sam worked in Quality Control with Valley Asphalt for 10 years and became an avid reader in the past few years. Family and friends may visit from 4-6 pm on Tuesday, December 31 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home,508 East Linden Ave. Miamisburg, Ohio 45342.
