Sylvia Grachek

She was born July 9, 1960 in Canton, OH.

Sylvia was known for her wonderful work ethic and kind heart. She was loved by many of her customers and coworkers at Frisch’s. She loved to bake and was known for her cookie cakes and dog treats. Sylvia crocheted blankets and hats as gifts for family and friends. She loved music, and her all-time favorite musician was Jon Bon Jovi. More than anything, Sylvia loved her family and her children were her world.

She was survived by her children; Chelsea Grachek (Jeff Seman), Ashlee Grachek, Jonathan Grachek; her mother, KathyMaria Badalamenti (Randall O’Connell); siblings, Tami Carey, William (Stephanie) Schauffler, Sean Schauffler, Diane (Shane) Chilton and Toni Gentry; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Judith (Austin) Schauffler; her husband, John Grachek; and her sister, Leigh Paschen.

A gathering will be held to celebrate Sylvia’s life from 2 – 5 PM on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg.
