Thomas J. Silberman

Thomas J. Silberman, 80, of Miamisburg, passed away on November 3, 2023 of natural causes. He was born in Cincinnati on December 20, 1942 to the late Karl A. and Melda Silberman. He grew up in Miamisburg & was a 1961 graduate of Miamisburg High School. Tom served in the US Army in South Korea. Upon his honorable discharge from the Army, he attended Parsons College in Fairfield, Iowa. Tom was a television producer / director at several television stations in West Palm Beach, FL, the greater Cincinnati area, and WHIO Channel 7 in Dayton, OH. After his children were raised & “flew the coop”, Tom lived in North Hollywood for a brief time, where he lived out some of his acting dreams with small roles in a few Hollywood films. As he approached retirement, he spent a few years working at Sycamore Hospital as a hospital aide/medical transporter.

He is survived by his daughter, Teresa (Stu) Everage; son, Thomas (Andrya) Silberman; six grandchildren, Addison Everage, Reveri, Aemeri, & Gus Silberman, Jayvn & Mysteri Hill; sister, Gretchen Acevedo; longtime companion, Sharon Hiatt; and a host of loved ones.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Coblentz Silberman; and sister, Karla Jean.
