

WRENN, Thomas Edward, age 66 of Miamisburg passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013 at his residence. He was born September 3, 1946 in Jacksonville, NC to the late Richard O. and Elizabeth (Roach) Wrenn Price. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by brothers, Charles Wrenn, Lawrence Wrenn and an infant Joseph Wrenn and his father-in-law John Shoemaker. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Phyllis J. (Shoemaker) Wrenn; children, Thomas Edward (Amanda) Wrenn of Kettering and Kristen Nicole (Michael) Terranova of Hilliard; grandchildren, Ella Grace and Coleman Thomas; brothers, Richard (Louise) Wrenn, David Wrenn, Rusty (Susan) Wrenn and Joe Wrenn; mother-in-law Eileen Shoemaker and brothers-in-law John (Lilia) Shoemaker and David (Barbara) Shoemaker. Tom was a 1965 graduate of William Gaston High School in New Bern, NC and attended Wright State University. He worked in the Miami Valley for many years and for various employers but always had a passion for computer technology. He finished his career with 8 years at Great American Financial as a configuration manager. Tom had also served in the Air Force as a Staff Sergeant during Vietnam. Tom was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. He enjoyed flying and was a private pilot for many years having the opportunity to build his own planes. Gathering of family and friends will begin 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, West Carrollton. A memorial ceremony will begin at 2:00 PM officiated by Pastor John Mittermaier also at the church.
