Timothy Lee Higgins

Timothy Lee Higgins, age 65, of Franklin, Ohio passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023. He was born June 27, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Oscar "Buzz" and June (Lawson) Higgins. He served in the U.S. Army. Tim enjoyed a career at AK Steel and retired after 36 years, 3 months, and 9 days.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Higgins.

Tim is survived by his children, Jeff Higgins, Bradley (Hallie) Higgins, and Emma (Chris) Townsend; grandchildren, Brayden, Zane, and Olivia; the mother of his children, Annetta Griffin; sister, Becky (Jimmy) Augspurger; brother, Danny (Sheila) Higgins; and many loved ones.

A visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, 508 E. Linden Ave. Miamisburg, Ohio 45342. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Final resting place is in Dayton National Cemetery.

Graveside services with Military Honors will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Shelter B at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W. Third St. Dayton, Ohio 45428.
