Velma E. Anderson Sharp

Age 94 of Kettering, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Walnut Creek Nursing Home after an 8 year battle with Alzheimer’s. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1996, Carl James Sharp; parents, Campbell and Elizabeth Anderson; 4 sisters and a brother. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Don and Mary Sharp; grandchildren, Todd (Kirsten) Sharp, Angie (Jason) Adams, Faith Sharp; great-grandchildren, Isaac and Julian Sharp, Ian, Aden and Mason Adams; sister, Edna Delozier; and numerous nieces and nephews. Velma worked as a beautician in the Knoxville, TN area and has been a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Miamisburg. She is a very strong and caring woman who will be missed by all. Friends and family may visit from 10 am-11 am on Friday, October 14 at Miami Valley Memory Gardens Chapel, 1639 East Lytle Five Points Rd., Centerville, Ohio 45458 with the graveside service following at 11:00 am.
