Wanda G. Gebhart

Age 89 of Miamisburg passed away Monday, April 27, 2015 at Sycamore Glen Health Center, Miamisburg. She was born December 16, 1925 in Bowling Green, Ohio to the late, Elmer L. and Neva Mae (Priest) Boyles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Dr. Clifford E. Gebhart (2014); sisters, Dorothy Angel, Norma Simon and Marilyn Hundley. She is survived by her children, Paul H. Gebhart of New Mexico, Joel C. (Nancy) Gebhart of Dayton, John D. (Mary) Gebhart of Miamisburg and Gary A. Gebhart also of Miamisburg; grandchildren, Brian Gebhart, Keith (Ryon) Gebhart, Jennifer (Jason) Frazier, Amy (Ryan) Zink and Sarah (Steve) DeTomaso; great grandchildren, Orah, Noah, Ella, Gabriel, Ruby, Gaea and Elliott, sister, Carol Cramer and a dear friend and extended family member, a former exchange student from Brazil, Beatrize Viegas-Faria. Wanda was a graduate of Otterbein College earning a BA, translated Spanish for an export firm then became a certified Graphoanalyst and received her MGA from the International Graphoanalysis Society (Chicago) in 1973. She was a life-long member of St. Jacob Lutheran Church, Miamisburg where she was involved with the choir and also maintained memberships with the Monday Night Club, Vivace Music Club, Dayton Music Club and Chorus. Wanda was also involved with the Miamisburg Historical Society and the Ohio Chapter for the International Graphoanalysis Society (IGAS). Family will receive friends and loved ones from 2:00-4:00 PM Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Funeral services will begin 11:00 AM Monday, May 4, 2015 at St. Jacob Lutheran Church, Miamisburg, officiated by Pastor Michael Hout. Burial will follow at Hillgrove Cemetery, Miamisburg. Memorial contributions may be made to St Jacob Lutheran Church at 213 E. Central Ave., Miamisburg, OH 45342 and/or Hospice of Dayton.
