William Richard Stamm

William Richard “Bill” Stamm, 73, lifelong resident of Miamisburg, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born January 15, 1944 in Dayton, son of Garvin and Marietta (Stupp) Stamm. Bill was a graduate of Miamisburg High School. In years past, he farmed, hauled water and spent over twenty years working for Monarch Marketing. He then was the owner and operator of Bill’s Carpet Care. Bill was a member of the local Moose and Eagles. He is survived by his children, William Scott Stamm and Christy Peters; 3 grandchildren, Niki and Lindsey Saylor and Joshua Stamm; 6 great grandchildren, Riley, Brianna, Cameron, Tesla, Isaiah, Leah; 2 brothers, Harlow and Douglas (Judy) Stamm; 2 sisters, Ona (Michael) Wheeler and Marcia (Wesley) Armstrong; as well as the mother of his children, Nancy Stamm. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Arlene Roy; brothers, Gerald and Roger. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg with Rev. Michael G. Hout officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service starting at 12 PM. Burial will follow at Hillgrove Cemetery.
