Beloved wife of the late Michael G. Oros; loving mother of Julie (Joe) LaGuardia, Patti (late Doug) Gealy, Michael (Stephanie), Bob (Diane), Anne (Mike) Budzik, Kathy (Matt McGregor), Teresa (Nick DeGaetano); dearest nonna of 21 and bisnonna of 13 with #14 due in January; cherished sister of the late Dina (Dan) Geston and the late Carol (late Norm) Cushler and sister-in-law of late Doris and Florence (late Tony) Petrofes; loving aunt; cousin and dear friend of Elly and Glenn (deceased) Miller and treasured friend to many.
Alma grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Italian immigrants, Anselmo and Nazzarene Montali. She was an honor student, an accomplishment of which she was very proud, and was involved in many school activities and organizations at East High. At the age of 21, she began her career as a stewardess for United Airlines, fulfilling her childhood dream.
Alma was an active member of St. Bartholomew Parish, Clipped Wings, The North Italian Club, Special Olympics, Middleburg Heights Women's Club and the Middleburg Heights community. She was an avid bowler, golfer, traveler and loved visits to the casino, movies, and games. She will be remembered most for her baking, above all, the treasured Santa cookies she made every year for each and every grandchild and great grandchild.
