Dear Joanne, Ted, Sallie and families

Dear Ted and Joanne;  Thank you so much for mailing aunt Helen Blasko the wonderful packet of memorials of Ann.  I was so impressed and touched by your tributes and the wonderful service for such a great lady.  I should explain that aunt Helen is my God-mother and second cousin, however, she and uncle Joe spent every holiday with us since I was born.  Today her care, an act of love, rests on my cousin Martha and myself. She now is in a nice assisted living near us.  When we closed up her home we paid your mom a visit and were so impressed by her vitality.  I remembered her as a beautiful women when I visited aunt Helen in the summers. She was still beautiful, I felt that I had missed one of lifes pleasures by not getting to know her. When I expressed concern about her being alone she assured me that her 'Sears' friends and Ted Holt checked in on her. I always knew her as 'Ann' and did not know her by Angela, and now Martha and I feel we know her and  your family. My sincere sympathy.  I very much enjoyed getting to know your mom at Charter One. She was a very special person, with a great outlook and attitude for life that made her a joy to talk to.
