ANTONINO "TONY" MOTTA

ANTONINO MOTTA, age 67 Beloved fiancé of Kathryn Eskins. Loving son of the late Antonino and Dorothy. Dear brother of Joseph, Anna Maria (Noel Miller) and Paolo. Uncle of Brenda Hein and Tory Palivoda (Paul). Great uncle of Matthew, Joshua, Casey  and Ashlee. Recently retired Radiologist at the Cleveland Clinic. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to the "Wounded Warriors Project".

Tony was a graduate of Stanford University and the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.  Tony practiced radiology for 30 plus years in the Cleveland area including Metro Health, and most recently at Cleveland Clinic’s Marymount Hospital.

 Tony loved the outdoors being an avid hiker and biker.  He also loved diving.  In his high school and college years he enjoyed many primitive camping trips.  In addition to his home in Brecksville, he also had a home in Florida where he enjoyed many fine dinners with family and friends.  He ensured everyone had a great time, was well fed and enjoyed a fine glass of wine.  Tony worked out passionately to offset the same.

Tony was a guitar geek who never played outside the home, spending hours with his numerous Paul Reed Smith guitars.

 Over the past 30 years Tony spent many hours planting, pruning and landscaping the grounds of his various homes in the Cleveland area.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Joseph Church, 12700 Pearl Road. Strongsville, OH on Thursday December 15 at 10 AM. The family will greet friends for a “Celebration of Antonino’s Life” Thursday 5- 7 PM at the Family Center of the A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, OH (West of I-71).
