Antonio Soto, 79, of Columbia Station, formerly of Cleveland, passed away on October 17, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved him dearly and countless memories that will forever be treasured in the hearts of those who knew him.
Born in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico, Antonio was the beloved son of the late Roberto Escobar and Rosalia Maisonet. He carried with him a kind heart, a generous spirit, and a love for his family that remained at the center of his life.
Antonio was a devoted father to Jose Antonio (Laura) Soto, Sr.; a proud and loving grandfather to Jose Antonio Jr. and Yolanda Soto and a cherished great-grandfather to Melody Rayne and Mia Grace Soto. He was a dear brother to Lydia Enid, Milton, and Edmundo Escobar, and a treasured friend to many.
To know Antonio was to know a man with a big heart who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He had a special way of making people feel cared for, and his kindness extended far beyond his own family. Whether sharing a meal, enjoying music, cooking his favorite foods, or trying his luck at gambling, Antonio found joy in life's simple pleasures. But nothing meant more to him than spending time with his family, especially his son, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Those moments together were precious gifts that will be held close to his family's hearts forever.
Antonio's life was defined not only by the love he gave his family but also by the compassion he showed to others. He was the kind of man who would help when someone was in need, give what he could, and offer kindness without expecting anything in return. His generous heart, warm spirit, and the memories he created will never be forgotten.
Although saying goodbye is never easy, the love Antonio gave so freely will never leave those who knew him. His laughter, his stories, his kindness, and the time spent together will continue to live on through the generations of family he leaves behind. While his absence will be deeply felt, his love will remain a lasting part of their lives, carried forward in every cherished memory and every act of kindness inspired by him.
Antonio may no longer be here for his family to hold, but he will forever be held in their hearts. His life was a gift, his love a blessing, and his memory a treasure that time can never take away.
Forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Craciun Funeral Home, 14925 Bagley Rd, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130
May Antonio rest peacefully, reunited with those who went before him, and may his family find comfort in the beautiful memories they shared and the love that will always connect them. His journey on this earth has ended, but the love he leaves behind will live on forever.
