Barb & Ed were married for 63 years & have 5 children. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren & great grandchildren, whom she loved to spoil. She worked at the Brunswick & then the Medina Library for a total of 32 ½ years & retired in 2009. Barb enjoyed bowling, she was on a women’s league & mixed couples league at the old Dick Hoovers, she was also the league secretary until Covid. Barb loved to spend the summer weekends at the pool with the kids. She was known as the “snack lady”, she always had snacks. Her favorite place was at the beach relaxing with family. In her early years, she loved her German Shepards & then started to adopt from rescue places, she always had a dog by her side. Barb was a planner for all events & kept everyone organized for any big family gatherings. Everyone could always depend on her to make sure that the parties had more than enough food. She loved to bake, always wanting to try new recipes. One of Barb’s passions was reading, she always had a book to read. She enjoyed sitting on the patio reading, watching the birds & listening to her wind chimes. Barb loved to take pictures of her family; she has a lifetime of pictures that captured every moment & every chapter in life. As we look back at the life of Barb, with all the photos that she took she was creating a story…her story for all of us for when she passed. As she was a planner, she was planning up to this point, so we have these memories of her, memories of our families & moments through the years that are everlasting.
