Still remember my visit to you in 94, your wife Carm and your sisters, the Argentine soccer T-Shirt you were wearing at the airport, the wonderful bike riding and the wonderful days I spent at your home. You started your final long journey and we will meet again some day. Have a nice trip.
We will miss your Christmas card at home.
A great hug from Argentina.

I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. I didn't know him long but was very fortunate to have met him. What a wonderful human being. I'll always keep him in my heart and miss him terribly.

I'm afraid I was somewhat late in getting the news about Carl. I'm sorry for his loss. There just wasn't anyone else quite like Carl a.k.a. Batman. I was priveleged to join him for numerous long trips and bike rides. I came to appreciate his sometimes irreverant sense of humor, his wicked word play, and all around good nature.

Who can forget such wonderful terms such as "Grit Licks" and "Johnee Hop?"

I think what stood out the most about Carl though is that at the end of every ride and every adventure, he was itching to go home to his family.

I shall miss him and I'm sorry for your loss.

We have been so blessed by all of the prayers, support, encouragement and love that has been shown to us over the last few days. Thank you all for your kind words and for sharing your memories of my dad with us. It just confirms what a truly special, genuine, extraordinary man he was and how many lives were touched by him.

Thank you, Dad, for all you've done for me, for your love, your encouragement, your support, the many laughs and most of all for your friendship. There will forever be a tremendous void in my heart.
I will miss you so much...I love you, Daddy!

To the Antczak family,
Please accept my condolences and sympathy in the passing of Carl. Over the last two years, Carl and I had become good friends as we both dealt with cancer. Carl was always a gentleman, gifted with an excellent sense of humor and wisdom. He will always be remembered in my daily prayers.

Sharing my life with the Cristino/Antczak family was the most wonderful experience. Carl was a wonderful father, husband and uncle. My heart goes out to the family and I will cherish the moments at the holidays playing games with him and talking about just stuff. He was a wonderful man and will be missed. Uncle Wonderful is looking down on everyone smiling upon all of us.
