Cherished grandfather of Kyle Howard (Megan) and Caitlin Martin (Ian) and great grandfather of Lainey Howard.
Dearest son of the late Benjamin and Mildred Howard and brother of Donna Stepp (late Richard), Judy Dunkin (James), Barbara Krathwohl (Mark) and the late Wanda Fannin (William).
Clarence was a U.S Army Veteran and a 50 year member of the American Legion Post #610 (Brook Park, Ohio).
He retired as Asst Service Director for the City of Brook Park, was a great athlete who played basketball and baseball. Managed Coyne's Sports softball team. Loved music, mostly 50's and 60's rock and roll and country classics.
However, his greatest joy came from spending time with his wife of 64 years and his family, which created many happy memories.
A Funeral Service will be held to honor his life on Saturday October 31, 2026 at 10:00am in the funeral home. Interment will follow with military honors at Holy Cross Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday October 30, 2026 from 4 - 8 PM at THE A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, OHIO 44130 (WEST of I-71)
