Daniel "Dan" James Franklin passed away peacefully in his home on September 4th, 2025. He was born on April 2nd, 1944 in Cleveland, OH. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Patricia (nee Alepakos), and his parents David and Mary (nee Simmerly). He is survived by his adoring children Pamela Carty (Ernie), Doreen Lauber(Jon) and David Franklin (Holly); his loving brother David Franklin, 9 grandchildren: Daniel (Renee), Sean, Stephanie (Tim), Zakary, Katlin, Kirsten, David (Maddy), Dean and Erika, and 14 great grandchildren.
There was nothing more important to Dan than his family. He was known for his quick wit and smart jabs and his endless generosity and compassion. May he find peace dancing on Blueberry Hill with Patsy.
Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Friday September 12, 2025 at St. Bridget of Kildare Catholic Church, 5620 Hauserman Rd, Parma EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
