DEAN R. MURNAN

DEAN R. MURNAN, age 67. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Mahnen) for 43 years; devoted father of Carl (Sondra) and Stacy Colman (deceased)(Chad); cherished grandfather of Charlotte and Elise; dear brother of David (deceased)(DeeDee), Lynne Murnan, and Mark (deceased)(Debi); also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Dean was very mechanically gifted. Besides running an auto body shop with his brother for 40 years, he found enjoyment in restoring vintage gas pumps, pop machines, and even a 1967 Camaro that had mice living in it when he found it. He could tackle any project, from carpentry to electrical and plumbing. But above all, Dean loved his family. He was an amazing husband, brother, father, and grandfather. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, patience, and strength. He made friends with nearly everyone he met (and never met a dog who didn’t also become his friend).

The family will receive friends TUESDAY 4-7 PM at the A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY RD., MIDDLEBURG HTS (WEST OF I-71). Closing prayers at 7:00 pm

A Celebration of Dean's life will continue 12 noon - 3 pm, Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at the Aviator Event Center, 20920 Brookpark Rd., Cleveland.
