Dennis W. Thomas Sr. age 77. Beloved husband for 58 years to Shirley (nee Bruce). Loving father of Dennis (Stephanie) Thomas Jr., Timothy (Avery) Thomas, Amanda (deceased) Thomas, Tina (Denzel) Thomas. Dearest guardian of Tristin Andrews and Sylas Andrews, that he cared for as his own sons. Dad and Sylas were two pease in a pod, they played and prayed together. Treasured grandfather of Celia Thomas and Olivia Thomas. Beloved brother of Shirley Taylor (deceased), Norman Thomas (deceased), Larry Thomas, Vicky Thomas (deceased), and Wayne Thomas. Loving uncle, cousin and friend of many. Blessed to have the best dad. He taught us how to love God, and our family. He could fix anything and he always tried to teach us so much. He loved and honored our mother which was the best example for all of us. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. He retired after many years of employment at Southwest General Hospital where he fixed everything, and was loved by all. Devoted member of Unity Free Will Baptist Chuch where he served as treasure for many years. Everyone will remember him by his humor and smile. Rest in peace Dad, and give Amanda a hug and tell her Hi from all of us. You will never be forgotten.

Family will recieve friends Monday, June 15, 2026 from 4-8pm at Unity Free Will Baptist Church, 6658 Fry Road, Middleburg Heights, Ohio 44130. Where Funeral Service will be Tuesday at 10:30am. Burial with honors at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetary.
