He was the beloved husband of the late Jeanette (née Paradise) and Alma (née Franklin); dear companion of the late Patricia Dedula; dear brother of the late Salvatore Jr., Leonard, and Lena; cousin, uncle, and great uncle to many. Frank was the proud veteran of the Army Air Corps in WWII and was awarded the Bronze Star during his service in the Pacific Theater. Over his long life, he was an avid Cleveland Indians fan and enjoyed big band music and dancing. Right up to the end, he enjoyed listening to his favorite conservative talk-show hosts, and especially loved playing bingo and scrabble. All who visited Frank at the North Park Senior Living center during bingo or scrabble times knew they were in for a wait until the games were over.
Donations in Frank’s honor may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516, www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
