I just heard about the passing of George....Dear Marge and family...my condolences to all of you....I had known George growing up a couple streets away and remembered him playing ball alot with my brother...he was special even then....Margie...you would remember me too I think from St. Bridget's (Eileen Gannon)....from our family to yours please know that our sympathies are with you and your children and grandchildren....I lost my twin Arlene four years ago and so I can relate to this terrible loss....I take solace in knowing that there is "that beautiful city on the hill", so free of suffering, promised to the faithful...that gives us comfort in knowing that our loved ones smile again and the spirit of their presence will alway be nearby.

To the entire Sibel Family:
    I knew George for about  20 years just from shopping at Rini's then when it became Giant Eagle... He always was friendly, nice and helpful.. By seeing him every week, we always made small talk, in later years, I took my dad shopping, and he too got to know Geore, he always said George was a wonderful person. My dad passed away in 05, so I know they are joking together in Heaven now.
   George always loved to get my chili meat for me.. We always talked about the lottery, and I did win the pick 3 alot and he gave me the name "Lucky".. As it seemed everytime I talked to him, the next week, I would win. 
  Was so sorry, when he got ill, and I know he fought so hard. Even in his illiness, I saw him a few times, he stopped in the store and I was shopping, he still was joking. 
   Well, his suffering is over.  
    Oneday we will all see each other again, and George can get me my chili meat.  I was sorry, I was unable to come to the funeral home, but he was in my prayers.
     I just wanted to give my sympathy to the whole Sibel family, and to tell them they had a wonderful, husband, father, fatherr-inlaw, and grandfather .
        Margo LePelley (Friend from the store)  I did send George many cards during his illness, and one while he was in the clinic.. He always was in my thoughts. God be with you all through this sad time.

To you and your family my deepest condolences.  I was so sorry to hear of your father's passing.  May all the happy memories of your father provide some comfort during this very difficult time.

Although I met George and Marge through my neighbors, the Palombos, I really got to know George as my butcher and food confidante on my shopping trips to Giant Eagle. Not only did he share good food recomendations, but he always asked about my boys.  And, of course, he lovingly shared stories about his own children with great pride and joy. And as an usher at St. Bart, he still asked about my boys and with great pride and joy talk about his own family when asked.  My condolences and prayers go out to all of you.
