George E. Spear

George E. Spear, age 89, of Middleburg Heights, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021. George was born June 25, 1931 in Uniontown, PA.

Devoted husband of 58 years to the late Olga, loving father of Kathy, George II, and Jeffery (Kelly), dearest grandfather of Michael, Joseph, Nicole, Jessica, Hannah, George III, Johnathon, James, and Kayleigh. George was an honorable Air force veteran, devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be missed by all.

Visitation Saturday, January 9, 2021, from 4-6 PM at Craciun Funeral Home, 14925 E. Bagley Rd. Middleburg Heights 44130. Where Services will be Monday, January 11, at 12:30. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Donations in George's name made to Cypress Hospice, 2 Berea Commons #1, Berea, OH 44017.

RESTRICTED VISITATION AND SERVICES - FOLLOWING STATE SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES Everyone attending Visitation and Funeral Services are required to wear a mask and social distance themselves from others. Due to Restrictions we are limited to 25 people in the funeral home at a time. We welcome friends and relatives requesting that you do not linger giving others an opportunity to visit.

I did not have the privilege of meeting George. But I know and love Nicole, his granddaughter. She has told me he was a big part of her life and how much he meant to her. Nicole is kind loving and I know her grandfather had a huge part of teaching her.

George was the wonderful husband to my dear sister Olga.
Although my sister and I lived miles away from Cleveland my husband and I managed to spend our summer vacation at ocean city New Jersey with Olga and George .George was so easy going,patient,and loving. All you had to do was feed him and he was happy.
George was a faithful husband,
Wonderful father,and grandpap
Who enjoyed and loved his grandkids.
May he Rest In Peace with Olga,
And my husband Alex who are waiting for him up in heaven🙏.

George (dad to me) was my dear neighbor at our lake houses on Catawba. He was always friendly and smiling and loved his lake house and to sit and talk while enjoying his cigar. He loved his little dog and having his family and friends around him. We will all miss him. Rest In Peace “dad” and give hugs to Olga and Steve.
