Ida L. Hill

Ida Louise Hill (nee Del Zotto), 86, former resident of Mesa, Arizona, died November 29, 2018 in Cleveland, Ohio. Ida was born November 19, 1932 to the late Federico Del Zotto and Maria (Zilli) and was sister to Rino Del Zotto (Joann) and the late Lydia Cancian (Danilo). Ida graduated from Lincoln High School in Cleveland, Ohio and retired from the Cleveland School Board of Education where she worked in the cafeteria of Thomas Jefferson Junior High School. Ida also served many years on the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Club Post 2533 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Ida was the beloved wife of the late Wayne A. Hill for 62 years and the dear mother to Kathleen Stasko (Ray), Allan Hill, Paula Hill, Denis Hill (deceased), Christina Chonko (Mark), Susan Hill, and Gina Zola (Dan). Ida is grandmother to six: Robert Stasko, Katie Sgambellone (Stasko), Abigail Hardy (Chonko), Megan Chonko, Jacquelyn Zola, Hannah Zola; and great-grandmother to eight: Kristofer Stasko, Jarod Stasko, Quinn Stasko, Kayla Sgambellone, Lydia Sgambellone, Ella Hardy, Lyla Hardy, and Ava Hardy.
There will be a private family viewing and internment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
