James Alan Blatnik

A devoted husband and father, James leaves behind his wife of almost 52 years, Sally Blatnik (née Grimmer), and their four children: Katie Rolland (Ross), Jeffery Blatnik (Terra), Gregory Blatnik (Sarah), and Michael Blatnik. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Elizabeth (Betty) Blatnik, and his brother, Thomas Blatnik.

James built a life dedicated to sales and service to others. He spent many years at Croscill Textiles and recently retired from Suburban Clock Shop, where he continued to share his sharp wit and friendly presence with the community. He was an active member of the Berea Kiwanis Club for a great portion of his later life.

After successfully navigating two significant health scares years ago, his focus was placed on his family. His presence was a cherished constant at the sporting and music events of his nine beloved grandchildren: Liam, Julia, Gabe, Ava, Izzy, Conor, Tommy, Cate, and Lily.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday October 18, 2025 at the funeral home.

The family will receive friends FRIDAY (OCTOBER 17) 4-7 PM at the A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY RD., MIDDLEBURG HTS (WEST OF I-71)
