JAMES T. CASSIDY, age 91. Preceded in death by his wife Ruth (nee Von Franzke). Loving father of William (Bonnie), Chris (Sandy), Moira Almalt (Ahmed), Sharon Acciarri (Robert), Gene (deceased) and Joe (Teri). Cherished grandfather of Caroline Cassidy, Noah, Sameh and Ray Almalt, Katie and Emily Cassidy, Domenic and Nicholle Acciarri.
Korean War Veteran serving as a corpsman with the U. S. Marine Corps and awarded the Purple Heart, Gold Star, Letter of Commendation and Commendation Medal. He earned a Masters of Science Degree, taught high school chemistry and was Vice President of the Cleveland Teachers Union. Memorial Mass Friday January 10, 2020 St. Ignatius Church, 10205 Lorain Avenue at 10:00AM. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the A.
