JAMES C. MILES, SR.

JAMES C. MILES, SR., age 65. Beloved husband of Linda (nee Leahy) for 47 years; devoted father of James, Jr. (Lauren), and Tracey; cherished grandfather of Madison and Logan; dear brother of Patrick, Mitzi, Candy, Barry (Roberta), Michael, Mary, Theresa, Tony, Franny, and Tommy; caring uncle of many.

James' long battle ended at the Cleveland Clinic, where he had spent the past four months with his strong, loving wife by his side every possible moment.

A survivor of liver and kidney transplants, we are thankful from the bottom of our hearts for his donors and their families' sacrifice. He was an amazingly kind soul who grew up in a big family with so little, yet his heart was so big. ALWAYS the funniest person in the room, James brought laughter and joy to so many lives. We are just crushed to have lost our hero.

Memorial service 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at the funeral home. Final resting place at Holy Cross Cemetery

The family will receive friends WEDNESDAY 5-7 P.M. at the A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY RD., MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71).
