CRAIG, JOHN R. “JACK”, age 64. Passed away Sunday April 13, 2025. Beloved husband of 33 years to MaryEllen (nee Noga). Cherished father of Emily Zarzour (Jacob) and Derrick. Loving grandfather of Lucas Zarzour. Dearest son of the late Donald R. and Elsie (nee Lutz). Adored brother of Donald J. (Marty), Kathy Smith (Gary) and Barbara Tibbitts (Chris). Dear brother-in-law of Jane Karr, Ted Noga (Cindy) and Jim Noga (Marcia). Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Jack courageously held careers with the Parma Fire Department (31 yrs.) and the U.S. Coast Guard (21 yrs.).
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to St. Albert the Great School or Wounded Warrior Project in memory of John Craig.
Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday April 22, 2025, St. Albert the Great Church, 6667 Wallings Road at 10:00 AM. (EVERYONE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. The family will receive friends MONDAY EVENING 3 – 7 PM at the A. RIPEPI & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71).
